Learn the Art of Tarot

Step into the fascinating world of Tarot and learn how to read the cards with confidence, intuition and a deeper understanding of their symbolism.

Our Tarot Reading Course is designed to take you beyond simply memorising card meanings. Throughout the course, you’ll explore the foundations of Tarot, learn how the cards work together to tell a story, develop your intuition and practise giving meaningful readings for both yourself and others.

We’ll explore the history and structure of the Tarot, the Major and Minor Arcana, the four suits and their elements, court cards, numbers, imagery and symbolism. You’ll learn different ways to interpret individual cards, how their meanings can change depending on their position and surrounding cards, and how to begin trusting your own intuitive response to the imagery.

As your confidence develops, we’ll move into different Tarot spreads and reading techniques, from simple one and three-card readings through to more detailed layouts. You’ll learn how to formulate questions, connect the cards together, recognise themes within a reading and communicate what you see in a thoughtful and responsible way.

There will be plenty of practical exercises and opportunities to read alongside others, helping you move from understanding Tarot intellectually to actually feeling comfortable working with the cards.

The course is taught in our relaxed and informal style, creating a supportive space where you can ask questions, experiment and discover your own individual way of reading Tarot.

Please bring your own Tarot deck to the course.

We believe choosing your own deck is an important part of creating a personal connection with Tarot. If you don’t already have one, Tarot decks can be purchased from The Hare & the Moon, and we can help you choose a deck that feels right for you.

No previous Tarot experience is required. This course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already own a Tarot deck but would like more structure, confidence and practical experience in reading the cards.
