Acupuncture with Meg

Acupuncture is an ancient form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has been used for more than 2000 years to support people’s health. At the heart of TCM is the concept of Qi (pronounced “chee”) - our body's vital energy or ‘life force’ that moves through the channels (meridians) of our body.

When Qi is flowing freely and the body is in balance, we experience a sense of physical and emotional health. When there is an imbalance in the body causing dis-ease or pain, acupuncture works with specific points along the body to restore harmony.

Acupuncture can support a wide range of concerns including muscular or joint pain, mental health problems, sleep difficulties, headaches/migraines, digestive issues and menstrual or hormonal health. Acupuncture is officially recognised within UK healthcare guidelines, with National Health (NICE) officially recommending it as a treatment option for certain types of chronic pain and headaches.

During your treatment, very fine, sterile needles are gently inserted into specific acupuncture points, these points are selected according to your individual needs and the patterns identified during your consultation. Our session may also include other TCM modalities to support your healing such as bodywork, cupping therapy, moxibustion, acupressure and lifestyle advice.

Follow up appointments (1 hour) - £65
