About Strength & Stillness

Strength & Stillness is a unique practice that brings together yoga, mindful resistance training and meditation in a way that supports the whole person — body, mind and spirit.

Using intentional movement, breath awareness and light weights, this class is designed to build strength, stability, mobility and resilience while remaining grounded in the deeper principles of yoga.

Rather than approaching weight training as purely physical, we explore how resistance can become conscious, meditative and empowering. The result is a practice that strengthens the body, steadies the mind and boosts overall vitality without losing the calming and restorative essence of yoga.

Suitable for all levels, this intelligently balanced class offers a rare combination of functional strength work, nervous system regulation, mindful movement and inner connection — all within one hour.

What Do I Need to Bring?

All equipment is provided, including mats. However, you are welcome to bring your own mat or any personal equipment if you prefer.

What Should I Wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Class Size

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment, our classes are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 participants per session. This allows for more personalised guidance and attention for each individual.

Late Arrival Policy

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the class start time to allow time to settle in and prepare for the session.

For safety and to minimise disruption to the group, no one will be permitted to enter once the class has started

Cancellation Policy

Classes £20 or less: Minimum 24 hours’ notice required

Classes £21 or more: Minimum 48 hours’ notice required

Treatments: Minimum 48 hours’ notice required

Cancellations made within the required notice period may be charged in full.
