Brachiopod Mucrospirifer is an extinct brachiopod that lived during the Middle Devonian Period about 385 million years ago. These were found in the Widder Formation in Ontario, Canada. Mucrospirifer are a genus of brachiopods with a long straight hinge line that extends to a point. This gives them a distinctive wing like appearance.
