Creative Folk Art Workshop for a Cool Cool Yule! Have fun creating your own Christmas decorations! How would you like to create a selection of some of your own hand painted Christmas decorations? We promise you, you don`t have to have any major skills or talent. We take you through the process, providing you with ornament shapes which are already primed and painted with a base coat, an attached hanging hook and decorative string. Then YOU can have all the creative fun! Using a combination of Scandi style Folk art, Doodle art and Zen doodle, we take you through the basic process of creating Scandi style design for your ornaments (double sided) and away you go! It`s mindful, it`s meditative and it`s fun.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to create up to six of your own decorations, using a selection of shapes provided, and to learn a few basics of folk art and doodle art design.
If you`ve enjoyed the process you`ll then be ready to take it further into more complex designs, Folk art and Doodle art are relaxing, absorbing, mindful ad meditative. The perfect way to switch off from all the stresses of every day life and `go into the zone`. Come along and give it a try.
All materials are included along with a hot drink and a mince pie or two. No previous skills or experience are necessary. Come and join us for some arty fun and a little Christmas cheer.
